To Milwaukee and Back on One Charge?

See for yourself how EV range has improved.

Madison is just a hop, skip and a jump from many popular weekend destinations. Since skipping to Milwaukee isn’t an option, we decided to take a Chevy Bolt to the Historic Third Ward. Many car shoppers are skeptical about going electric because they worry about range – basically how far they can drive before needing to charge. At one time, I would have been right there with them. But today, electric vehicles like the Bolt can travel about 238 miles—and with an electric vehicle, it can be a smoother, quieter ride as well!

We did the math and figured we could make it to the Milwaukee Public Market and back to Madison on a single charge.

Check out our latest video to see if our road trip was a success. And be sure to visit the EV Rider section of energy2030together.com for more stories about the latest on electric vehicles.
