Electric cars are here to stay—and more are on the way. A recent trip to the Chicago Auto Show is all the proof you need—many manufacturers had an electric vehicle (EV) on display. The new lineup isn't just for early adopters and technology enthusiasts. Striking designs, SUV and truck options, and vehicles that can travel 300 miles on a single charge are all on the horizon!
The Ford Mustang Mach-E SUV is getting a lot of attention with sleek styling, plenty of room and the promise of 0 to 60 in 3.5 seconds. Ford also has plans to electrify its best-selling models, including the Escape, Explorer and F-150.
Ford isn't the only manufacturer responding to customer demand by rolling out electric SUVs and trucks. GM has plans for an all-electric HUMMER, and a plug-in hybrid version of Toyota's top selling RAV4 also is in the works.
