One of Wisconsin's most iconic brands is getting into the growing electric vehicle (EV) market.  Milwaukee-based Harley-Davidson plans to launch its first electric motorcycleby 2020. Harley will compete with several smaller manufacturers that already have electric cycles on the market.

EV beer delivery

If you're a Bud Light, Michelob Ultra or Stella Artois drinker, you'll be interested to know those and several other beers may soon be delivered to Wisconsin via EVs. Anheuser-Busch has placed an order for 40 Tesla semitrucksto add to its delivery fleet by 2019. The company is trying to reduce its carbon footprint. Anheuser-Busch owns and distributes more than 50 distinct brands of beer.

Oil companies invest in EV charging

EVs may not use any oil, but major oil companies are beginning to embrace the technology nonetheless.  BP and Shell announced they are investing in EV charging networks. Both companies are testing the technology at their service stations in the United Kingdom and Europe.
